Welcome

In this blog I share my journey of how I came to know the reality of God’s existence, my continuing spiritual growth in Him, and my attempt at understanding life through His eyes.  This website is geared more so for those who are “poor in the spirit” (Matt. 5:2), who have come to the point of having no hope in this world, no consolation for the damaging experiences they have been victimized by, and yet have not given up completely, searching one last place for wholeness and healing where human reasoning has failed.  It is for those who are willing to let faith arise in the belief of the one true God who has a plan and purpose for our lives, to come to believe that the invisible God is all powerful and able to turn the pain and chaos of our damaged lives into order, healing, meaning and purpose.

With God, all things are possible.  You can begin a new life as a new creation in Christ that will bring you into the full restoration that you long for, which is possible because of the love God poured out on us through the merciful salvation of His Son Jesus Christ.

It is my prayer that those who are “poor in the spirit” will come to the knowledge of truth and discover the love, hope, and peace of God that can give them true freedom.

Poor in the spirit – The opposite of self-sufficiency, spiritual poverty includes the deep  humility of recognizing one’s utter spiritual bankruptcy apart from God.  It describes those who are acutely conscious that they are lost and hopeless apart from divine grace.”
